Jerry Leonard
DDS
Dr. Jerry Leonard found his calling in oral and maxillofacial surgery after seeking a profession that seamlessly combines medicine and surgery. After leaving his home state of Oklahoma, Dr. Leonard spent 21 years in the Air Force and lived in California, where he completed his residency. Looking to move to the East Coast, he wanted to find a practice that would allow him to continue following his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery while working with a great team.
Understanding that many people come to him after having poor experiences with previous providers, Dr. Leonard prioritizes listening to his patient’s concerns and approaching every interaction respectfully. He finds his work rewarding because he has the chance to provide healthcare to many patients, addressing a range of needs.
Dr. Leonard graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1994 with his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Dentistry in 2000. He earned a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in 2007.
Dr. Leonard is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Leonard enjoys spending time with his wife and children outside the office, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling.
