SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SERVE
Akeso Oral, Facial & Dental Implant Surgery is delighted to announce John Jackson as our 2023 Smiles For Veterans recipient. Our Smiles For Veterans program provides one veteran in Maryland who has many broken, missing, and/or decayed teeth with a complimentary full-arch restoration procedure.
John is a 61-year-old Army veteran and cancer survivor living in Baltimore. In his application, he explained his struggles with cancer and shared that he has been cancer-free for the last eight years.
For John, restoring his smile doesn’t solely benefit his health; it gives him the opportunity to find the confidence he needs to return to being himself.
We hope that this surgery is life-changing for John and his family. John has overcome adversity in many aspects of his life, and we are honored to help him. We know that providing him with a healthy smile is one step toward helping him regain his self-confidence as well as his ability to maintain his overall health.
FULL-ARCH RESTORATION
John will receive a complete set of new teeth at no cost. This type of tooth replacement is called full-arch restoration, and involves using dental implants to secure a fixed denture in one or both arches. Our experts work closely with a restorative dentist to complete the treatment.
